臼井風山（うすい　ふうざん）

尺八
職格：社団法人日本尺八連盟竹帥大師範
1972年より尺八を木本勝山に師事。1980年関西音楽集団に第一期生として入団、北野徹・北村憲昭・高橋明邦・田嶋直士らよりアンサンブル技術の指導を受ける。
1976年師範の職格を取得、１９８３年大師範に昇格、1994年に竹帥の称号を受ける。
1993年12月、日本尺八連盟主催第１８回全国尺八コンクールのアンサンブル部門で優勝。この成果に対して文部大臣奨励賞受賞。

President of Shikandaza. Grand master of Japan Shakuhachi Association. 1972 Started studying Shakuhachi as a pupil of Shozan Kimoto. 1980 Member of Kansai Music Group, and studied ensemble method from Toru Kitano, Noriaki Kitamura, Akikuni Takahashi, and Naoji Tajima. 1976 Master of Japan Shakuhachi Association, and promoted to Grand Master in
1983. 1994 Entitled the of Chikushi (virtuoso).
1993 Won the first prize in 18th Shakuhachi contest, and awarded the prize of Minister of education.
